Health Consultive Committee
The Consultive
Committee holds as objective the proposal of the following items,
based on the SciELO Public Health Criteria:
- Inclusion of
new scientific journals in the collection;
- Exclusion of
scientific journals from the collection;
- Modifications
in the journal admission and permanence criteria;
- Performance
indicators of the journals added to the SciELO Public Health Collection,
that shall be periodically displayed;
- Definition
and improvement of the Committee actions, in order to efficiently
fulfill the previous objectives.
The Consultive
Committee will permanently have the following composition:
- Operational
Coordinator of the SciELO Program, as Chairman;
- Scientific
Editors representing the journals published in the SciELO Public
Health Collection.
The Consultive
Committee may also count with the participation of consultors and
external experts in meetings and various activities, whenever necessary.
