The present article deals with the problem of violence in adolescence, an extremely serious problem from the social and public health point of view. On attempt is made to show that "adolescence" as a biological stage of our lives, has a fundamental social weight in its configuration. There is no general adolescence, just as there is no general violence. Based on the classification of the World Health Organization, it was found out that "external causes" constitute the major death cause in age groups of 5-14 (46,5%) and 15-29 (64,4%)in the overall death causes among these age groups.
