This is an article in which we discuss the concept of the care according to the perspective of the philosophy, linking with the practice of the nurses, who appropriates themselves of this concept to substantiate their professional practice. We defend that a way to look after with ethics can be carried out when the professional call upon the partners of the HIV/AIDS infected patients. We believe that this moment is very delicate and deserves to be argued and to be institutionalized by the professional team that carries out the specialized attendance in HIV/AIDS.
