<body><![CDATA[<p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">No final da d&eacute;cada    de 1970, a Organiza&ccedil;&atilde;o Mundial da Sa&uacute;de (OMS) realizou    um f&oacute;rum interdisciplinar em Estocolmo, com o objetivo de discutir a    influ&ecirc;ncia dos fatores psicossociais na sa&uacute;de, formular medidas    e propor pol&iacute;ticas de sa&uacute;de inclusivas baseadas nesses fatores    (WHOª 1976). Nos idos de 1980, a Organiza&ccedil;&atilde;o Internacional do    Trabalho e a OMS publicaram documento em que chamavam a aten&ccedil;&atilde;o    dos efeitos adversos dos fatores psicossociais relacionados ao trabalho (International    Labour Organization<sup>5</sup> 1986). Segundo esse documento, ambas as organiza&ccedil;&otilde;es    internacionais concordavam que... "o crescimento e progresso econ&ocirc;mico    n&atilde;o dependiam apenas da produ&ccedil;&atilde;o, mas tamb&eacute;m das    condi&ccedil;&otilde;es de vida e trabalho, sa&uacute;de e bem-estar dos trabalhadores    e seus familiares". O documento citava que n&atilde;o apenas os riscos f&iacute;sicos,    qu&iacute;micos e biol&oacute;gicos tinham import&acirc;ncia na sa&uacute;de    do trabalhador, mas v&aacute;rios fatores psicossociais presentes no trabalho.</font></p>     <p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Os fatores psicossociais    do trabalho referem-se &agrave;s intera&ccedil;&otilde;es entre meio ambiente    e condi&ccedil;&otilde;es de trabalho, condi&ccedil;&otilde;es organizacionais,    fun&ccedil;&otilde;es e conte&uacute;do do trabalho, esfor&ccedil;os, caracter&iacute;sticas    individuais e familiares dos trabalhadores.<sup>5</sup> Portanto, a natureza    dos fatores psicossociais &eacute; complexa, abrangendo quest&otilde;es associadas    aos trabalhadores, meio ambiente geral e do trabalho. Desde aquela &eacute;poca    at&eacute; os dias atuais, houve significativo avan&ccedil;o no conhecimento    cient&iacute;fico sobre a influ&ecirc;ncia das intera&ccedil;&otilde;es entre    esses elementos e os efeitos na sa&uacute;de. As demandas psicol&oacute;gicas    e suas associa&ccedil;&otilde;es com o controle no trabalho s&atilde;o vari&aacute;veis    de natureza psicossocial e t&ecirc;m sido intensamente investigadas (Karasek<sup>6,7</sup>    1979; Theorell &amp; Karasek<sup>13</sup> 1996; Bourbonnais et al<sup>2</sup>    1999; Ara&uacute;jo et al<sup>1</sup> 2003; Fernandes et al<sup>3</sup> 2009).</font></p>     <p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Mais recentemente,    na d&eacute;cada de 1990, uma vari&aacute;vel conhecida como "desequil&iacute;brio    esfor&ccedil;o-recompensa" (ERI), que expressa a percep&ccedil;&atilde;o dos    trabalhadores quanto &agrave; rela&ccedil;&atilde;o entre os esfor&ccedil;os    empreendidos e os retornos obtidos em seu trabalho, foi tamb&eacute;m reconhecida    como outro fator psicossocial com importante associa&ccedil;&atilde;o na sa&uacute;de    dos trabalhadores (Siegrist<sup>10</sup> 1996). Algumas publica&ccedil;&otilde;es    que inclu&iacute;ram essa vari&aacute;vel s&atilde;o: Peter et al<sup>9</sup>    2002; Niedhammer et al<sup>8</sup> 2004; Gillen et al<sup>4</sup> 2007.</font></p>     <p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Uma busca na base    PubMed em mar&ccedil;o de 2012 localizou 610 publica&ccedil;&otilde;es referentes    &agrave;s palavras-chave que identificam essas vari&aacute;veis citadas: "<i>job    demand control model</i>" e "<i>effort-reward imbalance</i>". Desde o in&iacute;cio    da d&eacute;cada de 2000, artigos relacionados aos fatores psicossociais e seus    efeitos na sa&uacute;de dos trabalhadores t&ecirc;m sido publicados na Revista    de Sa&uacute;de P&uacute;blica (RSP). Alguns desses artigos descreveram as associa&ccedil;&otilde;es    das vari&aacute;veis citadas atuando isolada ou conjuntamente nos efeitos observados.    Entretanto, os trabalhos publicados s&atilde;o de desenho transversal, o que    nos impede de estabelecer rela&ccedil;&otilde;es de causa e efeito.</font></p>     <p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Neste n&uacute;mero    da RSP, &eacute; publicado artigo com dados de uma pesquisa com banc&aacute;rios    realizada por Silva &amp; Barreto<sup>12</sup> que analisa os efeitos de fatores    psicossociais no trabalho (demanda-controle, apoio social, ERI e elevado comprometimento    no trabalho) na autoavalia&ccedil;&atilde;o de sa&uacute;de. Nove por cento    dos 2.054 participantes do estudo, funcion&aacute;rios de um grande banco brasileiro,    referiram sua sa&uacute;de como "ruim". O artigo em quest&atilde;o mostra que,    al&eacute;m das pr&aacute;ticas e estilos de vida n&atilde;o saud&aacute;veis,    os fatores psicossociais no trabalho est&atilde;o associados &agrave; percep&ccedil;&atilde;o    de sa&uacute;de ruim nessa categoria ocupacional.</font></p>     <p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">A categoria banc&aacute;ria    tem se manifestado p&uacute;blica e regularmente, somando &agrave;s quest&otilde;es    salariais den&uacute;ncias de m&aacute;s condi&ccedil;&otilde;es de trabalho,    com importantes repercuss&otilde;es na sa&uacute;de. O setor financeiro apresenta    um hist&oacute;rico de modifica&ccedil;&otilde;es na profiss&atilde;o "banc&aacute;rio",    com mudan&ccedil;as radicais nos processos e atividades de trabalho. Estudo    de Silva et al<sup>11</sup> (2007) revela que a reestrutura&ccedil;&atilde;o    produtiva no setor banc&aacute;rio est&aacute; associada a repercuss&otilde;es    negativas na sa&uacute;de. Importante lembrar que, at&eacute; a d&eacute;cada    de 1990, consideravam-se os aspectos biomec&acirc;nicos das tarefas (trabalho    repetitivo, por exemplo) como os principais respons&aacute;veis pelo desenvolvimento    de les&otilde;es m&uacute;sculo-esquel&eacute;ticas entre os banc&aacute;rios.</font></p>     <p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Apesar de a maior    parte dos estudos brasileiros abordarem condi&ccedil;&otilde;es de trabalho    entre banc&aacute;rios e efeitos &agrave; sa&uacute;de, n&atilde;o informam    acerca de resultados de interven&ccedil;&otilde;es que porventura tenham sido    realizadas. Essa ainda &eacute; uma lacuna na literatura, n&atilde;o apenas    restrita &agrave; categoria dos banc&aacute;rios, mas tamb&eacute;m de outros    estudos que investigaram fatores de natureza psicossocial e repercuss&otilde;es    na sa&uacute;de.</font></p>     <p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Na Uni&atilde;o    Europeia, dada a alta preval&ecirc;ncia de problemas de sa&uacute;de (principalmente    de sa&uacute;de mental) relacionados &agrave;s condi&ccedil;&otilde;es de trabalho,    tais como elevado estresse, viol&ecirc;ncia no trabalho, ass&eacute;dio moral,    entre outros, foram estabelecidas diretrizes de um programa de gest&atilde;o    de riscos psicossociais no trabalho <i>Psychosocial Risk Management - European    Framework</i> (PRIMA EF). Esse programa objetiva fornecer um modelo de promo&ccedil;&atilde;o    de pol&iacute;ticas e pr&aacute;ticas de gest&atilde;o desses riscos nos quais    se prev&ecirc; identifica&ccedil;&atilde;o dos riscos, interven&ccedil;&otilde;es    e avalia&ccedil;&atilde;o das interven&ccedil;&otilde;es (WHO<sup>14</sup> 2008).    Espera-se que a divulga&ccedil;&atilde;o deste e de outros estudoss somem-se    &agrave; de mais artigos publicados que relatem n&atilde;o somente a import&acirc;ncia    dos fatores psicossociais na sa&uacute;de, mas tamb&eacute;m as interven&ccedil;&otilde;es    realizadas.</font></p>     <p>&nbsp;</p>     <p><font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="3"><b>REFER&Ecirc;NCIAS</b></font></p>     ]]></body>
